Mark's 1st Memorial Golf Tournament

It was Mark's birthday on September 13, and so we celebrated by having a golf tournament in remembrance of him and his love of golf!
It was so fun! We invited friends and family to join us for an afternoon of golf and then dinner.

Our family had a good time being together and remembering so many fun times with Mark!
It was really like a mini reunion with a lot of family and friends getting together to celebrate Mark!

Grandma and Barton enjoying some time together!

Tiff and Joshie looking good in their baseball hats!
How fun!
Three generations!!
Evelyn's daughters and sweet little granddaughter!
Mark's best friend, Dave and his family came to join in the fun and food!
We all had a great time and look forward to next year's celebration!

The flower gardens are gorgeous!

They have several acres of lovely grounds!

The patios around the back are delightful!

So much area for the patrons and visitors to enjoy!

Lovely afternoon sunlight on the trees that surround the temple.

What a great visit we had to the Regina Temple!

Celebrating Max and Joshie's Birthdays

Wow, our little smiley Max is already one!

Lindsay had fun celebrating Max's party with a 'cookie monster' theme this year!

The party was so fun and we had excellent weather to celebrate it outside!

We especially enjoyed to Cookie Monster cupcakes, lovingly made by Lindsay!

Oh what fun to dig into his own birthday cake!

Best way to wash off... playing in the sprinkler!

Max loved it all!

Then down to Joshie's 6th birthday in Calgary with all the cousins!

Utah, Idaho and a Total Eclipse of the Sun!

Dad and I went to Utah for the LDS Academy of DentistsDental Coference at BYU in August.

Dad overlooking Provo on 'Squaw Peak' Point.

We had a fun drive up Provo Canyon while at the Dental Conference.

Bridal Veil Falls is a landmark waterfall up the canyon and very gorgeous!

At the Coference we met up with Caroline Flexhaug's brother from Raymond, Alberta. What a coincidence, and how fun!

On our drive home, we stayed at mom and Ron's in Logan. It was so wonderful to see them again. We enjoyed our visit so much!

They have a beautiful country home that they still take care of so well!

With a beautiful gazebo and deck for afternoon relaxing!

What a charming home, even at night!

We left mom and Ron's place early on Monday morning to drive up to Idaho Falls to view the Solar Eclipse that was happening that day.

Traffic was so thick going up there, even early in the morning!

Eclipse mania was everywhere, even in the road!

It was becoming a grand adventure!

After looking for a long time we found this park just outside of Idaho Falls, and decided it was a perfect spot to view the eclipse!

The park was on the Snake River, it was a beautiful spot. We were excited and dad got busy setting up his camera with a protective filter to view the eclipse.

We were next to these three boys that drove down just overnight to view the eclipse!

They were also from Edmonton!

This little family that we met had come all the way from London, Englad to view the eclipse. They had been planning this trip for several months.

She is an eclipse fanatic and tries to see one whenever and wherever she can!

This was her view box she had made for children to view the eclipse just by looking at it.

It was so fun to watch the eclipse getting closer on her box.

It was so fantastic when the eclipse finally occurred!

We were just overwhelmed with awe and wonder that our small moon could actually cover and totally eclipse the huge sun!

This is our favourite picture that dad took of the solar eclipse with his filtered camera!

The 'corona' in this picture is so bright and beautiful!

Dad getting pictures of the eclipse!

During the eclipse everything was very cold and dark, we surely saw how much light and warmth the sun gives us!

Our eclipse viewing buddies! We became very good friends during our several hours of waiting and watching the solar eclipse!

After the eclipse we drove home through Montana and stayed at a bed and breakfast...a lovely log cabin!

We had an unforgettable trip!
